Randy Price, 68, of Warrenville, IL

A dedicated member and Trustee of the Warrenville Fire Protection District.

Randy Lee Price, age 68, a longtime resident of Warrenville, IL, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on November 28, 1956, in Elmhurst, IL.

Randy is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Cheryl (nee Moss); his loving children, Ha and Theu Price; his cherished grandchildren, Brayden and Logan Hicks; his dear brother, Mickey (Betty) Price; his father-in-law, Claude Moss; his sister-in-law, Amy (Kevin) Krabbe; and his nieces and nephews, Andrew (Nikki) Price, Lauren (Jared) True, Kyle Krabbe and Courtney (Colby) Bowyer.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Bradley Price; his parents, Roy and Helen Price; his brother, James Price; his sister-in-law, Janet Price; and his mother-in-law, Virginia Moss.

Randy grew up in Elmhurst and graduated from York High School, Class of 1974, where he played saxophone in the band. He attended Eastern Illinois University where was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity.

Randy was a dedicated paramedic with Superior Ambulance for many years, serving countless communities with a deep sense of purpose and joy. Randy also shared his passion for EMS by teaching and mentoring future paramedics at College of DuPage and Loyola Medical Center. His expertise and enthusiasm inspired many to follow in his footsteps. A longtime member of the Warrenville Volunteer Fire Department, Randy retired in 2015 but continued his service as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Warrenville Fire Protection District from 2017 until 2023, leaving an enduring legacy in the field he loved.

In 2008, Randy and Cheryl founded CP Travel, combining their passion for travel with a dedication to creating unforgettable vacations for clients. Through their agency, they embarked on countless adventures of their own, while helping others turn their travel dreams into reality.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Warrenville Fire Protection District for the Ladder Truck Fund. As a final ask from Randy, please celebrate his memory by performing a random act of kindness. Whether big or small, let it be a reminder of the love and compassion Randy shared with the world.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 5:00-7:00 PM at St. Irene Catholic Church, 28W441 Warrenville Rd., Warrenville. On Friday March 14, visitation will also be held at St. Irene Catholic Church from 9:00-10:00 AM, immediately followed by the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Warrenville Cemetery. Please feel free to celebrate Randy’s life by wearing your favorite vacation/tropical shirt.
