Resident Saved From Fire In 2100 Block Of Jessica Court

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville resident was rescued from their home Saturday after a fire broke out at a residence in the 2100 block of Jessica Court. The fire was reported around 9 a.m. in the single-family home, according to a press release from Naperville Fire Department Division Chief Scott Salela.

When fire crews got to the scene, they found heavy black smoke coming from the side of the house. One resident was safely evacuated from the home by firefighters.

No injuries were reported, but the home was deemed uninhabitable. Red Cross assisted residents with finding temporary lodging.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials said.
