NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) and its partners are developing a new comprehensive regional plan – called ON TO 2050 – and are seeking the perspective of area residents and business people on how the local region should look in 2050. This interactive workshop is scheduled for Monday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.

Topics that will be discussed at this workshop include the funding of CMAP’s transportation system, expanding access to high quality jobs, improving housing choices, managing flooding, protecting communities from the effects of climate change, ensuring the preservation of natural areas, supporting cities with workable tax policies, creating opportunities for reinvestment and defining how best to invest limited infrastructure dollars.
