Riverwalk Lamps Smashed ; 2 Suspects Turn Themselves In
The two accused parties may face charges from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office once an investigation is complete.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Two suspects turned themselves in and were released in connection with incidents in which three shepherds crook lamps were damaged along the Naperville Riverwalk.
Park District officials say the incidents took place near Riverwalk Café, 441 Aurora Ave. The first incident happened at approximately 2:55 a.m. on Jan. 30. The second took place around 2:55 a.m. on Feb. 5. The total damage was estimated to be over $600.
Naperville Crime Stoppers offered a reward of up to $1,000 Thursday for information leading to an arrest in connection with the incidents. The two suspects who turned themselves in admitted to being involved in the aforementioned incidents, according to a news release from Naperville Park District.

The suspects were released without charges, but the case is under investigation and they may face charges from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office once the investigation is complete.
Naperville Park District Police Chief Steve Schindlbeck said in a statement, “The Naperville Park District Police thank members of the community who came forward with information concerning the suspects’ identities. We also want to thank the Naperville Police Department for their assistance with the subsequent investigation and interviews."
