Reward Offered for Info on Residential Burglary

Coins, jewelry and credit cards were stolen during the June 5 incident.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a residential burglary.

Police say a forced entry burglary occurred between 2 and 7 p.m. June 5 in the 1100 block of Muirhead Ave. The subdivision is located southeast of 75th and Naper Blvd.

“There was an undetermined amount of coins, an assortment of jewelry and credit cards stolen from the residence,” police said. “A neighbor observed a suspicious person in front of the victim’s residence at approximately 5 p.m. The subject was observed walking towards the backyard of the victim’s home.”

At approximately 6:30 p.m., the neighbor observed the same subject walking between the residences, this time from the backyard towards the street. The subject was last seen walking north on Hyde Park from Muirhead, police said.

The subject is described as a male, white, in his late 30s, around 6 feet tall, stocky build, short dirty blond hair, wearing a reddish orange short sleeve shirt with black sleeves, black pants and black shoes.
