RMK Management Corp. Marks Annual Resident Appreciation Month by Giving Back to Local Communities

RMK Management Corp., one of the Chicago area’s largest market-rate apartment management firms, celebrated its annual resident appreciation month in August by giving back to its residents as well as area communities. Charitable initiatives included Naperville’s Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Walk, Feed My Starving Children and a pet adoption event. A series of events were held throughout the month at each of RMK’s 22 Chicago-area communities.

“So much of what makes our apartment communities such great places to live is a combination of the residents themselves and the cities, towns and villages where they’re located,” said Diana Pittro, executive vice president of RMK Management Corp. “That’s why our theme this year recognized not only how much we appreciate those who choose to live at an RMK property, but also surrounding-area causes that are important to people near and far.”

Pittro added, “Whenever our employees and residents can work as together to help others, it’s a wonderful team-building experience.”

In addition to the charitable events, RMK also hosted meals for its residents, special events like pool parties and movie nights, and online games via social media.

“The staff at all of our communities always tells me our resident appreciation month is their favorite time of the year,” said Pittro. “We really have a terrific team of property managers, leasing agents and maintenance staff – which is how we attract and retain such top-notch residents.”
