Robbers Steal Pizza, Money from Delivery Driver

The Naperville Police Department arrested two men in connection with a robbery that occurred at around 5:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14.

According to a release from the department, Austin P. Brown, 19, of Naperville and Steven D. Gaines, 21, of Naperville were each charged with one count of robbery, a class 2 felony and one count of obstructing identification, a class a misdemeanor. Brown’s bail has been set at $50,000, while Gaines’ bail is $60,000.

Police responded Aug. 14 to a report of a robbery on the 1600 block of Coach Drive. Cash and pizzas had been taken from a pizza delivery driver. The men then fled on foot.

After an investigation, officers arrested Brown and Gaines Saturday, Aug. 15.
