Safe DuPage to Host Panel Discussion on COVID-19
Community Leaders to Discuss Resources for Those in Need Due to Pandemic
On May 12, 2020, at 6 pm, Safe DuPage will host an online panel discussion amongst DuPage County leaders whom will discuss resources available to people in need of help as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
This discussion will be moderated by Naperville City Councilman Kevin Coyne. Panelists will include:
DuPage Judge Jim McCluskey. Judge McCluskey hears eviction cases and will discuss tenant protections that have been made available since the outbreak of COVID-19.
DuPage Judge Ann Celine Walsh is the Chair of the Family Violence Coordinating Council for the 18th Judicial Circuit. Judge Walsh hears felony criminal cases and previously heard domestic cases for many years. Judge Walsh will discuss how COVID-19 has impacted her courtroom.
State Representative Grant Wehrli will discuss resources that his office have available to help people in need since the outbreak of the virus.
Shoaib Khadri, President of the Islamic Center of Naperville. Mr. Khadri is actively involved in community outreach through interfaith partners and also serves on the board of Unity Partnership, an organization that serves to develop positive relationship between law enforcement and the community.
