Scott Mackay and Danielle Tufano in "Spelling Bee" Production Sunday
The stars of the Mackay in the Morning Show with Danielle Tufano will be "guest spellers" at the June 25 Summer Place Theatre performance.
The morning hosts of 95.9 The River radio station will be part of the show during Summer Place Theatre's final performance of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" on Sunday, June 25 at 3:00p.
This musical comedy is also part improv. Before the curtain goes up, two actors in the lobby invite audience members to compete in the spelling bee and hand out applications. During the show, some of those folks are called up on the stage to be part of the show. Summer Place has also invited a few local celebrities to be guest spellers during the show's run. Scott Mackay and Danielle Tufano are Sunday's guests.
Tickets are still available for this performance, as well as for the shows on Friday and Saturday nights, and can be purchased online. This hilarious show was well-received during it's first weekend and you'll enjoy it any night. But watching Danielle and Scott play trying to spell impossible words is bound to be extra fun.
