Sharp Decrease In Coronavirus Numbers At Edward Hospital
Since March 24, 2020, 1,849 inpatients have been treated for coronavirus and discharged from Edward Hospital.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital is treating 10 inpatients with confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. This is less than half the number of coronavirus patients who were in treatment last Tuesday, when the hospital reported 21 inpatients with coronavirus.
The numbers also reflect a notable decrease compared to earlier this winter. As of Dec. 28, Edward Hospital was treating 57 coronavirus inpatients.
Hartenberger added that no patients died from coronavirus within the past 24 hours. In total, Edward Hospital has seen 141 deaths from coronavirus.
