Shot Fired In Downtown Naperville Monday Night: Cops
Police are looking for two men after a confrontation led to a shot being fired in the 100 block of west Jackson Monday.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A shot was fired after a reported altercation in downtown Naperville Monday night, according to police. The incident took place in the 100 block of West Jackson Avenue just after 11:40 p.m.
Witnesses told police two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, approached them and then another group about an earlier altercation. One of the men then fired a single shot, police say.
Both men fled north on foot. Police say the second group of people left before officers got to the scene.

The suspects were described as follows:
- A black man between the ages of 18 and 20 with a light complexion, short hair and a stocky build, standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing no shirt and dark plants. He was reportedly armed with a handgun.
- A black man between the ages of 18 and 20 with a light complexion and short hair, standing between 5 feet and 5 feet 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a light-colored tank top, light pants and a light cloth over his face.
