Shots Fired From Car In Naperville: Police
A resident who lives nearby told Patch they were "shocked" when they heard "six gunshots ring out" Wednesday night.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Police say it is not clear what a shooter was aiming at when shots were fired from a dark sedan in a Naperville parking lot Wednesday night. The incident took place in the 300 block of East Bailey Road just after 9:30 p.m.
When police got to the scene, they found "multiple shell casings" in a parking lot, a news release from Naperville Police Department said. Police canvassed the area, but did not find any injured parties or suspects.
A resident in the nearby River's Edge condominium complex who asked to remain anonymous told Patch they were "shocked" when they "heard six gunshots ring out" Wednesday night. "That's definitely not fireworks," they said.
