Shots Fired Incident Under Investigation In Naperville
Naperville police are asking residents to contact them with any information about a shots fired incident that took place Sunday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of West Diehl Road early Sunday.
Police were called to the scene around 4 a.m. During the investigation, they learned that the shots had been fired 45 minutes prior to their arrival and that the suspects had left the area, an update from the City of Naperville said.
The update mentioned that there was no longer a threat to the public.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the department's investigations division at 630-420-6666.
The incident comes just days after a man was fatally shot at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Fairway Drive Friday morning. Police confirmed that a "person of interest" was taken into custody Friday afternoon.
