"The Sound of Music" Opens Friday!
Community theatre at its best! For three weekends only.

"The Sound of Music," the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, sets the hills alive starting Friday night, July 15. An amazing amount of local talent will be highlighted in this Summer Place Theatre production.
This show has everything including adorable children, trained singers, professional musicians, and clever staging to tell a story that's as relevant today as it ever was. If you have never seen the stage version, you're in for a treat! You'll hear familiar songs such as "My Favorite Things" and "The Lonely Goatherd," but also new ones such as "How Can Love Survive?" Women from the Naperville Chorus bring added depth to the chants by the sisters of Nonnberg Abbey.
The Summer Place is delighted to be back on the Naperville Central High School stage after three seasons of displacement. With plenty of parking and room for social distancing, Summer Place looks forward to welcoming theatre-goers once again.
