Students Evacuated from Beebe Elementary Due to Bomb Threat

A search of the school found no bomb.

Naperville police are investigating a threat at Beebe Elementary School that resulted in an evacuation Monday morning.

Naperville Police Department Commander Jason Arres said at 11:29 a.m. officers responded to Beebe Elementary, located in the 100 block of East 11th Ave., for a report of a bomb threat.

Students and faculty left the school and were moved to another district location, Arres said.

Naperville Police officers, along with DuPage County’s Bomb Squad and Explosive K9, searched the premises and have determined the threat is unfounded. An investigation into the source of the threat continues.
