Students Send Naperville Police Sweet Treat For Valentine's Day
The handcrafted Valentine thanked police for their courage.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Members of the Naperville Police Department got their daily shifts made a little brighter when they received a sweet Valentine's Day delivery from students at Peterson Elementary School. Police officers took to social media to say that they were "feeling very loved" after receiving dozens of cookies and a bright red card adorned with stickers of bumblebees, cookies, and (naturally) tons of hearts.

The students sent the Valentine's Day cookies as a thank you to Naperville police officers for their hard work and ongoing courage."Cookies 4 Courage," the Valentine read. "One cookie goes to a lot of courage," the card continued. "The policemen gave a lot of courage to others, so here is the courage back."

The police officers fueled up on the cookies so quickly, police spokesperson Mike Son, said, that there were none left over. We're confident this means they had plenty of extra courage when they went out for their shifts!
