Suspect In 2025 Armed Robbery Arrested After Traffic Stop In Naperville: Cops
Timmothy Hadley, 18, was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Feb. 11.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police arrested a man Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery that took place in November 2025. Timmothy Hadley, 18, was taken into custody during a traffic stop and is currently being held at DuPage County Jail after being denied pretrial release.
According to police, Hadley was among four people who took part in an armed robbery on Nov. 24, 2025. Around 9:10 p.m., police received a report that a black Honda Pilot had been followed by a Nissan Sentra and a Kia before the cars boxed in the Honda near Sleigh and School Streets.
Hadley is accused of getting out of the Nissan and coming up to the Honda while wearing a mask and showing a gun. Prosecutors say he tried to open the Honda's driver's side door, but was unsuccessful. Hadley is accused of approaching the car's back window and demanding a cellphone from someone in the backseat. Police say Hadley then smashed the phone on the pavement before he got back into the Nissan and fled the scene.

“The allegations Mr. Hadley stopped a vehicle, disguised his identity, armed himself with a gun and then approached the vehicle and robbed one of the occupants are outrageous,” DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement.
He added, “I assure the residents of DuPage County that this type of alleged behavior will not be tolerated and will be met with the full force of the law. Public safety is my office’s top priority, and we remain committed to the prosecution of violent crime."
Hadley is set to appear in court again on March 9.
