Teen Charged With Burglarizing Naperville Home

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Harvey man faces burglary charges after police say he broke into a Naperville home in late January. Malik Pearson, 18, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the incident, which took place in the 800 block of Shiloh Circle.

According to police, Pearson got into the home on Jan. 25 via a car that was left unlocked in the driveway. Naperville detectives are currently investigating to see if Pearson is linked with other burglaries in the area.

Police urge residents to help deter burglaries by keeping their homes and cars locked and avoiding keeping valuables inside of cars.
