Time-lapse video of snow in Buffalo takes internet by storm

Freezing cold temps have enveloped much of the country, but nothing is quite as chilling as the conditions in Buffalo N.Y. this week. A ferocious storm has dumped massive piles of snow in the area, trapping residents in their homes and leaving motorists stranded on roadways. Snow totals could top 6 feet by Wednesday afternoon. Needless to say, images and videos out of the area are now taking the internet by storm, like this time-lapse video from downtown Buffalo. The video, courtesy of Joseph DeBenedictis and Jason Holler, shows the monster lake effect snow band over Lake Erie.
