TRAFFIC ALERT: 1 Dead in Accident at Eola and Diehl; Roads Shut Down in All Directions
The City of Aurora has issued a traffic alert Tuesday afternoon of a bad accident that is impacting traffic flow.

Update, 3:39 p.m. Tuesday -- The City of Aurora has announced that Eola and Diehl roads have been shut down in all directions after a fatal vehicular accident early Tuesday afternoon.
A semi-truck and sedan collided around 1:20 p.m. After the initial crash, the semi collided with a third sedan driving by a female who was treated and released at the scene.
One adult male is deceased, and his adult female passenger was taken to an area hosptial.

Eola and Diehl are shut down in all directions for at least two more hours, as of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Illinois State Police are on the scene assisting.

The accident is impacting traffic in that area, especially southbound traffic.
Motorists and residents are asked to avoid the area.
