Four crucial plays helped the Redhawks climb to within 17-13 of the Tigers early in the third quarter.
There were four key plays that helped Naperville Central's football team climb to within 17-13 of defending Class 7A state champion Wheaton Warrenville South Friday, though the Tigers wound up with a 38-13 win by the time it was over.
Late in the second quarter, the Redhawks were down, 17-0. The first clip (at right) is Central quarterback Hayden Daniels converting a fourth-and-three with a 6-yard run to keep the drive alive.
Clip No. 2 shows senior running back Matt Randolph muscle his way in for a 4-yard touchdown run to cut the lead to 17-7.

After Tyler Bell's 75-yard kickoff return to start the second half, Randolph had a 6-yard run that set up first-and-goal at the 1, as shown in clip three.
The fourth, and final clip, shows Daniels' 1-yard plunge that pulled Central to within 17-13 of the Tigers.
