Water Main Replacement in Naperville to Begin Sept. 8
Construction should last six to eight weeks, depending on the weather.

Motorists should expect lane reductions and increased travel times on Ogden Avenue beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8 as crews replace ageing water main and enhance the water utility at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Columbia Street. Weather depending, construction is expected to last six to eight weeks.
The City intends to maintain at least one through lane in each direction on Ogden Avenue and at least one access to all commercial entrances for the duration of the project. In addition, Columbia Street south of Ogden Avenue will remain open to traffic Monday through Friday to help minimize disruption for commuters.

A portion of Columbia Street north of Ogden Avenue will be closed for the duration of the project to allow for extensive underground work and to provide a staging area for material and equipment. The map above contains the location of the road closure and the approved detour route for north-south through traffic.
Motorists are urged to use caution, exercise patience and allow additional travel time when traveling in this area.
