Water Street Plant Sale To Benefit Young Adults With Special Needs

NAPERVILLE, IL — A plant sale will be held on Water Street in downtown Naperville May 21 and May 22 to raise funds for We Grow Dreams, a West Chicago-based greenhouse that hires and trains residents with special needs.

“This is a perfect opportunity to stop by on your way to lunch, brunch or shopping on Water Street, and support this wonderful cause while finishing up your garden décor,” Water Street spokesperson Deb Newman said in a news release.

Newman added, “We know the quality of goods at We Grow Dreams is extraordinary, and each plant is grown with love.”

We Grow Dreams was founded in 2004 by parents dedicated to helping their special needs children gain social and job skills. They work to prep and grow and maintain plants, greet and serve customers, stocking supplies and doing maintenance and clerical tasks.
