West Suburban Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade Set For March 14 In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — The 2026 West Suburban Irish Parade will be held March 14 in Naperville. The annual event brings thousands of participants and spectators to the city each year, but it's just one of the events WSI has planned to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Each year, the WSI St. Patrick's Day parade brings bagpipers, Irish wolfhounds and other celebrants to the heart of Naperville.

On March 14 at 10 a.m., the St. Patrick's Day Parade will step off from the corner of Ogden Avenue and Mill Street at Naperville North High School. The parade heads south on mill before turning left on Jefferson. From Jefferson, the parade moves into downtown Naperville via Main Street before heading west on Porter Avenue. The parade will come to a close at Naperville Central High School.

Irish Session Music

Quigley's Irish Pub, 43 E. Jefferson Ave., hosts Irish session music monthly and has shows planned for Feb. 18, March 14 and March 18 at 7:30 p.m. The performances feature musicians playing jigs, reels and folk tunes on traditional Irish instruments.

Irish Mass

An Irish Mass will be held March 11 at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville, with a prelude planned for 6:30 p.m. The service, dedicated to Saint Patrick, includes musical accompaniment and will be conducted in Gaelic and English.
