'World's Largest Reindeer' Glows At Lights Display In Naperville
A 40-foot glowing reindeer looms over Reindeer Road, a new drive-thru holiday lights display in Naperville.

NAPERVILLE, IL —A 40-foot reindeer, billed as the largest in the world, glows brightly over Naperville's newest holiday lights display, Reindeer Road. The drive-thru attraction opened Friday on the campus of Highpoint Church, 1805 High Point Dr.
The brainchild of Rich Janor, a local business owner, and Matt Baker of Brookdale Lighting, Reindeer Road features twinkling light sculptures that depict ornaments, snowflakes, snowmen and other festive scenes. The pièce de résistance is the giant reindeer — visible from I-88— that is bathed in green lights and has a signature glowing red nose.
"We decided to go BIG ... really big," Janor, president of Reindeer Events, said of the attraction in a news release.

It takes about five minutes to drive through Reindeer Road and take in all the illuminated decor. In addition to dazzling lights, Reindeer Road offers free candy canes and hot chocolate (while supplies last). Kids can also drop off letters to Santa Claus at a mailbox that will be located onsite.
