2012 Oscar Nominations for Best Picture: Where to Watch Them Locally
The 84th annual Academy Awards show is this Sunday, Feb. 26. There's still time to catch the Best Picture nominees locally at the AMC Showplace in New Lenox or a nearby Redbox stand.

The theater in New Lenox is giving local movie buffs one last chance to see the Oscar-nominated movies before the Academy Awards air this Sunday.
For $40, you can view five of the nine Best Picture nominations over a 12-hour marathon:
- 11 a.m. to 1:05 p.m. — Hugo
- 1:20 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. — The Help
- 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. — Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
- 7:15 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. — The Artist
- 9:05 p.m. to 10:39 p.m. — Midnight in Paris
The New Lenox theater showed the other four Best Picture nominees last weekend, including The Descendants, Moneyball, The Tree of Life and War Horse.
