2012 Oscar Nominations for Best Picture: Where to Watch Them Locally

The theater in New Lenox is giving local movie buffs one last chance to see the Oscar-nominated movies before the Academy Awards air this Sunday.

For $40, you can view five of the nine Best Picture nominations over a 12-hour marathon:

• 11 a.m. to 1:05 p.m. — Hugo
• 1:20 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. — The Help
• 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. — Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
• 7:15 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. — The Artist
• 9:05 p.m. to 10:39 p.m. — Midnight in Paris

The New Lenox theater showed the other four Best Picture nominees last weekend, including The Descendants, Moneyball, The Tree of Life and War Horse.
