30 Active Coronavirus Cases Reported In Lincoln-Way D210
At Lincoln-Way Central, there are eight active cases; Lincoln-Way East has 16 active cases; and Lincoln-Way West has six active cases.
NEW LENOX, IL — The amount of active cases at Lincoln-Way D210 has doubled over the past week. Earlier this week, the Will County Health Department also shared that the school-related cases in the county are at the highest number since Aug. 10. The week of Oct. 12 saw 74 new cases for the high school setting (ages 14-18), 39 new cases in middle schools (ages 10-13) and 24 new cases in the elementary school setting (ages 5-9).
Lincoln-Way District 210 has created a page on the district website to share case counts at each of its three high schools: Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way East, and Lincoln-Way West.
Last week, the district had 15 active cases of the coronavirus. Now, according to the district website, there are 30 active cases. At Lincoln-Way Central, there are eight active cases; Lincoln-Way East has 16 active cases; and Lincoln-Way West has six active cases.

The district has a total of 7,275 staff and students.
Will County has started another round of mitigations on Friday, due to the region's positivity rate. The mitigations, which include a shutdown of indoor dining and bar service, do not impact schools.
