Alleged Drunken Driver Plows through Front of Building in New Lenox

The driver was not hurt, but the front of the store appeared to be in shambles.

A 76-year-old New Lenox man was charged with DUI Wednesday after driving through the front of a building in New Lenox, police said.

Driver Robert Poska was not injured when he slammed into the front of Athletico, 412 Nelson Rd, around 3:30 p.m. A person inside was injured and treated with a Band-aid. No one required transport to hospitals.
