After arriving at the scene, deputies saw a camper trailer with a large tree on top of it, officials said.

The 47-year-old woman—now identified as Dana Jenner, of New Lenox—was the sole person inside the trailer when the tree fell, officials said.

Jenner was located inside the trailer and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Two dogs were also found dead inside, the Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District said.

Kendall County Sheriff’s detectives responded to the scene along with members of the Kendall County Coroner’s Office, officials said.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Jenner sustained multiple injuries consistent with the reported circumstances. A forensic autopsy is scheduled for Monday, July 6. The final cause and manner of death remain pending autopsy results and further investigation by the Kendall County Coroner’s Office and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
