NEW LENOX, IL — Fire apparatus and emergency vehicles that may be spotted at a property on Cedar Road this week are only there for training, the New Lenox Fire Protection District said.
Beginning Wednesday, July 29 through Friday, July 31, the New Lenox Fire Protection District (NLFPD) will be conducting live fire training near Cedar Road, south of Laraway Road.
The training sessions run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
People should not be alarmed at the presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area, officials said.
"There is no cause for concern—thank you for your patience and support as our crews train to keep our community safe!" fire officials said.
