Liquor Store Targeted In Smash-And-Grab To Gaming Machines: New Lenox PD

NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox liquor store that offers gaming machines was targeted in a smash-and grab last weekend, according to New Lenox police reports.

Police were called just before 6:30 a.m. to Route 30 Liquors, 356 W. Maple St., for a report of suspicious persons.

The caller stated they witnessed three male suspects get into a vehicle and flee the area on Route 30.

Due to recent burglaries, the witness contacted the police department.

Officers responded and found a glass door at the business was shattered and three gaming machines were damaged, police said.
