NEW LENOX, IL — Fans of 'The Who' got a special treat Saturday, Sept. 12, with an intimate show from the classic rock band's frontman Roger Daltrey.
Daltrey took the stage in New Lenox as the next stop on his solo "A Great Night Out" tour. Daltrey embarked on his tour in August, with 20 stops along the way.
Fans stood awestruck as Daltrey charmed the audience with cheeky humor and renowned rock sound, surrounded by nine supporting bandmates including Simon Townshend on guitar, Billy Nicholls on mandolin, Jody Linscott on percussion, Doug Boyle on guitar, John Hogg on bass, Katie Jacoby on violin, Steve Weston on harmonica, Geraint Watkins on keyboards/accordion and Scott Devours on drums.
