NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox business brings a pink touch and plenty of glam to a space on Joliet Highway.

Opening Thursday, Oct. 29, Luxe & Little Glam House offers a chance for moms to indulge in some self-care while the little girls they love are doted on, too.

Owned by New Lenox native and Lincoln-Way Central grad Vanessa Theodorou, the business at 2401 E. Joliet Highway focuses on the relaxation, glitz and glam moms and girls adore, packaged in one place. A single mom, Theodorou was inspired by her own experience spent juggling motherhood and time for herself.

"I know how hard it is to go get anything done, because you can't bring your kids with," she told Patch. "It's not easy to be able to make time for yourself."

With an 8-year-old son named Anthony, Theodorou relishes time she's been able to spend with little girls in her life. An entrepreneur, Theodorou has started both Curvescape body sculpting treatments and custom spray tans in Minooka, as well owning a restaurant in Westmont previously.

Luxe and Little, then, seemed like a natural next step. The studio features facials, sculpting, brows, waxing and tans for women, with mini services and glam makeovers for girls.

The space—previously occupied by Board & Brush—has undergone a makeover of its own, Theodorou said.

"It's all pink and glammed out," she said. "We have all the glam stations—hair braiding, French braids or bubble braids. Manicure and pedicure stations. A huge pink runway, with all dress-up stuff for the kids."

Moms can slip into a private room for their own indulgence, while girls enjoy their own experience with a technician. If the child's service is done before the mother's, a technician continues keeping an eye on the child, she stressed.

"Come for yourself. Come with your mini," the website reads.

Services, descriptions and pricing are all available on the business' website.

"Book a treatment on your own, bring your daughter along for her own little service, or celebrate a birthday in a room made entirely of pink."

Moms looking to enjoy the downtime without a little one are welcome, too.

"You can come in alone, or bring in littles," Theodorou said.

Facials for mom are complimented by mini-facials for the girls, with the business featuring skincare products from brands Dermalogica and Image.

Full-service esthetics for women. Mini services, glam makeovers and birthday parties for the little girls they love. All under one very pink roof.

A "Pretty Like Mommy" mother-daughter facial also gives duos a chance to make a special memory.

"You have the Luxe Glow Facial," the website describes. "She has a Mini Glow Facial made for younger skin. Neither of you waits in the lobby."

It was all designed around her vision to bring moms and daughters closer through shared experience.

"I wanted to be able to be around kids, create memories with them, and help other single moms," Theodorou said.

The entire facility is available for rent for birthday parties, she added, with the events featuring a "pink carpet, robes, tiaras and a runway of their very own." It even comes with a sound system for blaring the girls' favorite music.

Theodorou hopes the community will step inside the space she so thoughtfully designed.

"I renovated it from top to bottom: ceiling tiles, flooring, rooms," she said. "I really hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I put into it."

She's excited to see that word of her new adventure has already spread.

"We've been so blessed," she said. "I've already had 14 bookings."
