Marian Catholic Speech Team Wins the Thornwood T-shirt Tournament

The undefeated Marian Catholic Speech Team took first place at the Thornwood T-shirt Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 5, in South Holland. The Spartans finished with a 425 score. Mark Donaway, MCHS Speech Director, credits the championship on the diligent, bright students that make up the team.

“Each student comes prepared and ready to give it their all at every competition,” said Donaway. “The leadership and hard work the team put forth shows in the scores they are receiving.”
