Battery Arrest Made At Bull Dog Alehouse: Cops
A resident on Bon Terre Road told police their mailbox was knocked down and stolen.

Driving While License Suspended
Heather J. White, 25, Joliet was stopped at Joliet Highway and Princeton at 4:21 p.m. on Oct. 11 and charged with disobeyed stop sign, driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle disobey a stop sign. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, White, had a suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance.

Deonta J. Toney, 25, Dolton was stopped at Lincoln Highway and I-80 at 1:03 a.m. on Oct. 14 and charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Toney, had a suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance.

Anthony P. Brown, 33, Lansing was stopped at Nelson and Delaney roads at 4:18 p.m. on Oct. 12 and charged with speeding and driving while license revoked. An officer was running radar and observed a vehicle speeding. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Brown, had a revoked driver’s license.
Criminal Damage to Property
An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of S. Marley Road at 9:44 a.m. on Oct. 13 in reference to a criminal damage to property report. The complainant advised that an unknown subject(s) broke a window of their neighbor’s house.
Criminal Damage to Property/Theft
An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Bon Terre Road at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 2 in reference to a theft report. The complainant advised that they discovered their mail box had been knocked down and later stolen.
Theft
An officer was dispatched to 7-Eleven, 100 E. Maple Road in reference to a theft at 4:09 p.m. on Oct. 15. The complainant advised that the offender stole a carton of cigarettes and fled the store prior to police arrival.
An officer was dispatched to Morning Star Treasure Chest, 2571 E. Lincoln Highway at 7:44 p.m. on Oct. 15. The complainant advised that their keys were stolen while the shopped in the store.
