Burglary to Motor Vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the 1900 block of Ferro Drive in reference to a complaint of a burglary to motor vehicle at 7:06 a.m. on May 5. The complainant advised that unknown subject(s) forced entry to their work van and removed tools without permission.

Criminal Trespass to Motor Vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Stone Court at 9:26 a.m. on May 5 in reference to a complaint of a burglary to motor vehicle. The complainant advised that unknown subject(s) forced entry to their trailer. Nothing was reported missing from the trailer.

Speeding/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
David K. Hlad, 25, Midlothian was stopped in the 500 block of W. Maple at 3:17 a.m. on May 7 and charged with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle speeding. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Hlad, was under the influence of alcohol.
Retail Theft
Emma S. Fowler, 18, Joliet and Donald J. Granda Jr., 19, Joliet were both charged with retail theft at 7:14 p.m. on May 7 in reference to a report at Walmart. Fowler and Granda are accused of stealing miscellaneous products from the store.
Outstanding Warrant
Samuel Trask, 38, Joliet was charged with an outstanding arrest warrant at Silver Cross Boulevard and Maple Road at 10:02 a.m. on May 9. An officer was on patrol and observed two vehicles stopped on the side of the road. The officer stopped to investigate and made contact with Trask. The officer learned that Trask had an outstanding traffic warrant out of Harvey.
Battery
An officer was dispatched to NLPD in reference to a delayed battery report at 6:38 p.m. on May 9. The complainant advised that a co-worker at Taco Bell struck them in the face during a discussion.
