Blood Drive Planned At New Lenox Library

NEW LENOX, IL — If you're looking to donate blood, the New Lenox Public Library will hold a blood drive on Nov. 21. The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library, 120 Veterans Parkway.
The blood drive is held with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois and you can schedule an appointment by calling 800-786-4483 or emailing lwestmore@newlenoxlibrary.org.
You should eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before you donate blood, the library said.

A COVID-19 antibody test will also be performed on all blood donations as part of Versiti's standard testing.
