27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it.
28 Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again;
tomorrow I will give it’—when you have it with you. ~ Proverbs 3:27-28
How often do we pass by those in need? Where do we pass them by? There are so many in this world that are in need, how can we possibly help them all? It seems just so much easier to pretend not to see them as we continue to walk on by – doing nothing to help offer them a little encouragement, hope or even a hint of their still being a human being loved by God. Yet God provides for everyone – some in different ways than others.
Times are so difficult for everyone in this economy right now. However, God doesn’t say for us to help when we FEEL we have extra to give, but to give IF we have it when asked. God has put us here on this earth not to judge others, but to help each other through difficult times by sharing with each other. That also doesn’t mean that others should take advantage of the generosity of others, either. This is for God to judge though, not us. We are to be His messengers of hope, love and care in this difficult world of unfairness in life. The next time you see someone in need, give them a sign of hope and love from our Heavenly Father by sharing what you have without laying judgment on those in need. God will bless you for it.

Fill us and use us as your instruments of love and care for those in need to show them that they are still Your children, that You still love them and will take care of their needs. Amen.
