Illiana Expressway Presentation
Presentation given on March 28 at the meeting of the Rotary Club of New Lenox.
Rick Powell, Senior Engineering Manager of Parsons Brinckerhoff (Illiana Project Designers) and Kate Kukielka, Project Engineer of AECOM (Illiana Project Managers), were the special guests of the Rotary Club of New Lenox at its March 28th meeting.
Mr. Powell gave a PowerPoint presentation about the process of planning the proposed Illiana Expressway, which include environmental impact studies, cost analysis, land acquisition studies, and interchange types and locations.
There will be two upcoming public meetings for the purpose of gathering input from county residents and businesses that will be impacted by the highway. Those meetings will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 5-8pm at the Will County Atrium in Peotone, and on Thursday, April 18, 5-8pm at Lowell Middle School in Lowell, Indiana.
