Lincoln Way Wolves U13B Win Championship in South Bend, IN

The Lincoln Way Wolves U13B team traveled to South Bend, IN to participate in the Rip The Duck Tournament the weekend of April 20-21st. The team played North Shore on Saturday winning 4-2 . Sunday they played a total of 3 games against Windy City (W 11-1) , Bartlett (W 5-2)  and Elmhurst (W 13-2). Playing 3 games in one day did not take away any of their energy as they went 4-0 allowing only 4 goals in and scoring a total of 33 goals.  They found themselves tied for the championship game but with their 33 goals they were the winner of the tie breaker and went onto play Wheaton in the Championship. It was a nail biting game with goals being traded back and forth and ended up going into overtime tied at 4. The first face off of the overtime the Wolves won and scored immediately, leaving them the Champions of the Tournament and undefeated through out the tournament.
