Later this month, the green opportunities continue with the County's first  Household Hazardous Waste Collection of 2013 in Channahon during the day on March 23. That evening, there is a global celebration of Earth Hour from 8pm to 9pm.  Consider cleaning out the garage and basement now, before the warm Spring weather arrives and then relax for an hour of star gazing as businesses and residents turn out their lights for Earth Hour.
