Burglaries, Damage To Property: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

March 4

• Theodore Batchelor III, 35, of Gary, Indiana, was arrested at 9:56 a.m. in the 600 block of Walker Way and charged with residential burglary and possession of burglary tools. Batchelor had unlawfully cut and stolen copper piping from a home.

March 5

• A windshield of a car was smashed in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Town Crest Drive.

March 7

• A jewelry box was stolen out of a home in the 700 block of Stonegate Road. Officers saw damage to the rear door of the home.
