Scouts BSA Troop 12 of New Lenox is proud to announce its 60th Anniversary Celebration, to be held in conjunction with the troop’s mid-year Court of Honor on Tuesday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Lincolnway Christian Church (690 E Illinois Hwy, New Lenox). This special milestone recognizes six decades of service, adventure, and leadership development for youth in our community. The evening will honor the achievements of current Scouts while reflecting on the rich history and traditions that have shaped Troop 12 since its founding in 1965.
The celebration will bring together current members, alumni, families, and friends to commemorate this remarkable anniversary. In addition to recognizing advancements and awards earned by Scouts this year, the event will feature a look back at Troop 12’s past, highlighting memorable outings and the positive impact Scouting has had on generations of local youth.
Current and former Scouts, leaders, and families are warmly invited to attend and share in this momentous occasion. Those planning to join are asked to RSVP by emailing troop12[at]trooptwelve.com. The troop is also collecting photographs from events over the years and encourages anyone with images to send them to the same email address. This will help create a meaningful tribute to Troop 12’s enduring legacy in New Lenox.
