Car Burglaries, Retail Theft: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Jan. 28
- Michael Mile, 64, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:02 a.m. at Cass and Washington streets and charged with driving while license revoked.
- An unlocked car was entered in the 1300 block of West Maple Road. A jacket, CDs and change were stolen out of the car.

- Someone forced entry to a shed at Providence Catholic High School, 1800 W. Lincoln Highway. Tools and cleaning products were stolen, and six tires were stolen from four school buses.
- Someone pumped $24 worth of gas into his vehicle and drove off without paying at 7:04 a.m. at Murphy Oil, 431 E. Lincoln Highway.
Jan. 31
- Two people stole an employee's keys from a counter at Walgreens, 466 Nelson Road. They opened the fragrance cabinet and stole 51 bottles of perfume worth over $1,600.

- An unlocked car was entered in the 2700 block of Sunrise Lane and sunglasses and a knife were stolen.
- A garage door opener was stolen from an unlocked car in the 1300 block of Echo Drive.
