Car Stolen From Dealership Lot: New Lenox Police

The car was stolen some time in the course of three days, the employee told police.

NEW LENOX, IL — A car was reported stolen from a New Lenox dealership Saturday, according to police reports.

Police were called Saturday, Nov. 1 to Keifer's CCR Auto Sales, Inc., at 410 N. Vine St., for a report of a stolen Dodge Challenger. An employee told police the car had been stolen from the lot some time between Oct. 27 and Oct. 29. The car had been locked and did not have a license plate.

The dealership still had the keys to the vehicle, police said.

The incident is under review by the investigations division, police said.
