Cedar Road Metra Crossing to Close for Repairs August 5

Metra has informed the Village of New Lenox they will be improving the train crossing at Cedar Road. This maintenance work will require the crossing to be closed for 10 days, from August 5–14.

The detour routes will include Vine and Gougar Road to Francis Road. The 10 days is the maximum the crossing will be closed. If the work is completed before August 14, the crossing will be open.
