Chasing the Sun 5K Run and Fitness Walk Set for June 11

The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce and the New Lenox Community Park District are excited about the 3rd Annual Chasing the Sun 5K Race & Fitness Walk on Thursday, June 11. In partnership with our Valedictorian Sponsor, Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, this community event helps fund education and program scholarships for local youth through both the Chamber and the Park District.

Chasing the Sun continues to offer a certified course, chip timing, corporate and community challenges, a stroller competition for parents, and quality course amenities. The course will start and finish in the New Lenox Commons. A post-race family friendly party will include entertainment and music provided by 101.9, The Mix, free food and beverage for all race participants, awards ceremony, and the Kids Sun Dash!

Registration is available online at www.itsracetime.com or in-person at the Chamber or Park District offices. Race registration is $30 and children 7 and under are free. Race-day registration is $35. All race participants will receive a shirt and swag bag!
