Christmas in the Commons Set for Dec. 6
Event packed with family fun to be held at the Commons, 1 Veterans Parkway.
New Lenox residents are invited to ring in the holiday season during the Village’s Christmas in the Commons on Sunday, Dec. 6.
The free event begins at 1 p.m., and includes a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and appearances by Santa’s reindeer Comet and Cupid. Free horse-drawn wagon rides, a coloring contest, and Christmas trivia will also be included. Don’t miss free popcorn from Old Plank Trail, and free sugar cookies from Fleckenstein’s Bakery.
The New Lenox Youth Coalition will conduct their annual Christmas Tree Decorating Contest and the finale will be at 5 p.m. with the lighting of the Christmas trees.
