Coked Up Man Crashed Car Outside Michaels Distribution Center: Cops

The man was high and carrying cocaine, police said.

A coked up Chicago Heights man crashed his car in the parking lot of the Michaels distribution center in New Lenox, police said.

David Munoz, 22, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

An officer was sent to the Haven Avenue parking lot shortly before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a report of a crash, police said.

“While investigating the crash the officer discovered (Munoz) was under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of a controlled substance,” police said.

The police reportedly determined the substance was “suspected cocaine.”

Munoz was taken to the Will County jail.
