Connor Dempsay is Week Six Football Player of the Week

Wilmington High School senior running back Connor Dempsay was named the Molloy State Farm, WJOL Pigskin Preview Week Six Player of the Week. He ran away with the award by carrying the ball 13 times for 283 yards and four touchdowns. His 22.0 yards per carry is one of the years’ best efforts. Connor also won this award in 2017. Congratulations, Connor, for your excellent effort.

Kevin Molloy State Farm, in conjunction with WJOL Pigskin Preview, recognizes a player of the week from the area high schools. On December 5, 2018, a celebration banquet is scheduled when all the State Farm Agent Kevin Molloy, WJOL, Pigskin Preview awards along with the offensive player of the year, defensive player of the year and Coach of The Year. The banquet will be at Gina's Teardrop Café. Limited tickets will be able to be purchased for this event and will sell out quickly.
